Workshop Summary: “From Curiosity to Clarity – Teachers, Parents, and Therapists on Children’s Reproductive Health and Social Education”

The workshop held today brought together a dedicated and diverse group of stakeholders—including educators, parents, therapists, and caregivers—to engage in meaningful dialogue on the critical topic of children’s reproductive health and social education.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Shahrizal Selamat for once again sharing his invaluable knowledge and experience with the community of Sandakan. His insights greatly enriched the discussions and contributed significantly to the success of the session.

We are also deeply grateful to Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Sandakan for their collaboration, the CCWES group for their commitment, and Persatuan Tadika Sandakan for their steadfast support.

A special note of thanks goes to all participants, including representatives from Lahad Datu, therapists from HDOK, educators from various childcare centres, kindergartens, and secondary schools, as well as the many committed parents and caregivers who took the time to attend.

The workshop served as an important platform to foster understanding, promote collaboration, and strengthen the collective responsibility of shaping a safe and informed environment for children’s development.
